Sustainival shows provide an exhilarating and high-profile public platform to showcase cutting edge clean-technologies to millions of festival goers across North America.
Since 2011, more than a million festival goers have experienced the exhilaration of Sustainival, while gaining a hands-on awareness of the potential of clean technologies and renewable energy.
In its first two seasons, Sustainival operated 80 sustainably-powered carnival rides, games, and educational installations at multiple large events in Canada and the U.S., hosting a cumulative attendance of over 1,200,000 people.
THE GREEN BEAST
This year, Sustainival is producing an extra-special ‘Amazing-race’-style event on Saturday, August 31.
Participants will be let loose upon the Sustainival grounds in teams of 2-6 to complete the challenge. Each contender is given a list of physical challenges and rides to complete while working with teammates to solve puzzles, answer quizzes about ecology and the environment, and find bonus clues hidden throughout the course. Winners of the competition are entered to win amazing prizes. And the whole event also serves as a mega-fundraising platform for a selection of local charitable causes.
