Construction to start up on new Highway 63 twinning

Construction is set to start on more highway 63 twinning, between House River and south of Mariana Lake.

It’s a 32 km section that crews will start work on by the beginning of September, and it’s expected to be finished by 2015.

The project will cost 147 million dollars, and was awarded to Carmacks Group Limited.

In addition to the two new lanes, three new bridges will be built over Bear Creek, Cow Creek, and House River.

Workers will start the twinning near House River, and make their way north.
