The MacDonald Island Park Community Art Gallery will be host to Socius, the group exhibition from this year’s Artist in Residency program.
The exhibit starts on Thursday, August 29, at 7:00 pm and runs all the way through to October 1.
The Socius exhibit shows off the work of seven artists from across Canada who have worked at studios in Fort McMurray and Anzac throughout the summer.
Bree Mackin, Sonia Burke-Smith, Luke Maddaford, and Christian Villacillo have worked in the Fort McMurray studio since June 5; and Breanna Fabbro, Nicola Tibbetts and Donna Bilyk have worked in Anzac since July 31.
