The CJHL’s pre-season top 20 rankings are out, and the Fort McMurray Oil Barons came in 16th nationally.
They came in 2nd provincially, ahead of Spruce Grove.
But the teams falls behind Brooks Bandits, who ranked 1st nationally.
The rankings are based on factors that include the team’s league, last year’s regular season and playoff results as well as recruiting efforts .

The pre-season schedule resumes tonight when an exhibition tournament gets underway in Okotoks.
Tonight at 7:45 the MOB takes on the Oilers.
