A new Mercer survey shows the oil and gas industry will have the highest salary increases in 2013 and 2014
The financial service company says workers will see a average base pay raise of 4.3% this year and a projected 4.2% next year.
The survey says Alberta can expect the highest increase in the country, at 3.2%.
But, the lowest salary increases are projected for Quebec, Manitoba and Greater Vancouver at 2.8%.
The survey includes employer responses from across the country and has been conducted annually for more than 20 years.
