A new study shows most people leaving their home province to work in Alberta’s energy sector don’t consider it a permanent move.
Statistics Canada says 75% of workers keep their home province on their tax returns.
About 3 of 4 out-of-province workers in the study were men from BC, Saskatchewan and Atlantic Canada.
Half of those were employed in construction or oil and gas extraction.
