Police were called to the scene of the fire near Thickwood Boulevard and Real Martin Drive shortly after 6:30 tonight.
Approximately 50 homes on JW Mann Drive were evacuated because of the fire’s proximity, but no reports of injuries or damages to property come in as people have returned home.
Regional Emergency Services will be monitoring the area as the RCMP and Fire Department figure out the cause of the fire.
