Catholic school board trustee Keith McGrath says he’s running for council again.
McGrath finished in last years by-election as a runner up, and is serving his third term on the board and is the vice chair.
He says he’ll commit to shaping bylaws, being fiscally responsible and working with stakeholders and industry towards a growth plan.
He says he’ll want to help sustain the region when it comes to transportation, recreation, protective services, the and the non-profit sector.
He says he’d also like to work with the seniors, and the small business community.
He’s been here since the 80’s and has served on the Community Health Council, Regional Roads Committee, Fort McMurray Housing Authority, Lions Club, McMurray Newfoundlanders Club and he’s also President of the Friends of Miskanaw.
He made the announcement thsi morning on Jerry Neville’s Morning Show on Country 93.3.
