United Way says it’s reached 20% of it’s $7.8-million Community Campaign goal.
The local charity funds more than 70 programs in the region and the campaign ends November 15th.
Last year it brought in 99% of its goal of $7.5 million.

Today, the organization and those close to it are also remembering and celebrating the life of Board President, Barb Jewers.
She was a committed volunteer for over 20 years in a variety of leadership roles.
