With about a month to go in the United Way’s Community Campaign it says it’s almost half way to it’s $7.8-million goal.
The charity has raised about 46% of what it’s aiming for and the event only kicked off 5 weeks ago.
It still has some big events to help bring in the money including the KD Gala and Chili Cookoff.
The United Way Radio Auction is continuing and it says many new organizations are contributing.
The organization supports over 70 programs and partnerships that help children, families, seniors and the disadvanataged.
The campaign ends November 15th.
