RCMP responded to reports of a suspicious person at a Timberlea construction site and it’s now an investigation into the death of a man.
Police were called to the Riverstone Ridge area at 3:50 this morning where on-site employees reported a man at the location, but they said he was now gone.
Police did a foot patrol and found a dead white man, in his mid-twenties at the bottom of an unfinished elevator shaft.
A second man was found at the site and detained.
At the time, police have ruled out foul play, and the scene has been cordoned off until the investigation finishes up.
Police say they’ll update when progress is made.
The dead man hasn’t been identified yet.
