Redford to repay $3,100 for daughter's friends to go on government plane

The Premier says she’ll pay back the 31-hundred dollars of taxpayers money she used to fly her daughter’s friends around.

Alison Redford says in the last year and a half, she invited friends on the government aircraft four times to give her daughter Sarah, some company.

She says it’s hard to balance being a parent and a premier, and says she thinks lots of moms can relate to wanting to spend time with their daughter.

NDP Leader Brian Mason says Redford’s living big while her government’s cut social program funding, grants to post-secondary schooling and arranged poor deals with doctors and teacher.
