Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo MLA Mike Allen has been accepted back into the PC caucus.
He says the topic was voted on at a caucus meeting in Calgary today.
Allen says sitting as an Independent just wasn’t what he wanted to do long-term.
“There were certain pieces missing there, and a lot of pieces missing – you miss being part of a team. And you miss that direct contact with the government. I felt enough time had passed that we resolved a lot of issues, and so I approached them,” he said.
He says it was put on the meeting’s agenda after he asked government whip George VanderBurg to consider it.
