Police found a 66-year-old Ontario man dead on arrival, after yesterday’s crash on Highway 63.
The highway was shut down for eight hours yesterday as Wood Buffalo RCMP investigated a head on collision at kilometre marker 190.
Police were called to the scene at about 2 p.m. Investigators say the man was driving a pickup truck north bound. He crossed the centre line and hit the gravel truck which was moving south.
The driver in the gravel truck was brought to hospital with minor injuries.
Police continue to investigate.
