Police say a Fort McMurray man has been charged for driving 204 kilometres an hour on Highway 63.
Yesterday, Boyle’s traffic unit was patrolling the highway north of Wandering River near marker 92.
Police say one of their cars was travelling northbound when they spotted Brett Beyak speeding south down the highway in a Volvo. Eventually, other officers caught up with Beyak. He’s scheduled to appear in a Boyle courtroom on Oct. 28, 2014.
On the same day, the unit also laid another 77 charges, mostly for speeding.
