Woman pushing stroller, and baby, airlifted to hospital after getting hit by truck

Police are investigating a vehicle and pedestrian crash involving a woman who was pushing a stroller.

At about 7:30 p.m. last night, two women were pushing a stroller while crossing the intersection of Paquette Drive and Rainbow Creek Drive.

Wood Buffalo RCMP says they were hit by a truck. One woman and a baby were airlifted to a hospital in Edmonton. Police do not have an update on their condition at this time. There’s also no word on whether the driver of the truck will face criminal charges.

Witness photos show the stroller slightly lodged under the front bumper of a blue Ford truck.
