A painting made in honour of actor Robin Williams has raised $2500 for a local organization.
After hearing about Williams’ passing last Monday, local artist Russell Thomas created a portrait of him that he put up for auction.
This past weekend, it was announced the winning bid would be donated to the Some Other Solutions crisis centre.
Thomas says it came from an anonymous bidder in Calgary.
