A longtime member of the PC Party is leaving politics.
Edmonton-Whitemud MLA Dave Hancock is resigning from politics, and a seat he’s had for more than 17 years.
Hancock has held multiple senior cabinet posts in the legislature, including education, health, justice and human services.
When Alison Redford resigned during her scandal this past March, Hancock was named interim Premier.
He decided not to run for the PC leadership.
