Organizers are calling the second annual Fort McMurray Half Marathon a success, with increased participation over 2013.
In total, this year’s races had 636 runners, compared to 589 last summer.
Including the Terry Fox Run, over 700 people ended up running on Sunday
Though the half marathon itself had six fewer runners from last year, and the 10 km run had 23 fewer runners, participation in the other areas was up.
23 more kids were in the Kids Fun Run, 36 more runners took part in the 3 km, and 17 more ran in the 5 km.
