Western Canada Summer Games organizers want to give away gold and an iconic image of Wood Buffalo.

Today, they announced a medal design competition which is open to the public tomorrow.

The design should represent the culture and history of the region. Those entering a design must be residents of the RMWB.

Artist have until October 6 at 4 p.m to submit their designs at the Games Operations Centre at 9717 Franklin Avenue.
