Mounties are trying to identify a masked man who carried a gun into a Lac La Biche gas station.
Police says the suspect entered a Petro Gas at about 10:30 Saturday night. He allegedly attacked the 40-year-old clerk before taking some cash and leaving the scene.
Investigators say the man grabbed some cash from the store before leaving the scene. Paramedics rushed the male victim to a nearby hospital, but he was later sent to Edmonton for more treatment.
Police describe the man as about 5″6 to 5″8 with a medium build and short dark hair. He was wearing black pants, a black hoodie with a green Monster logo on the front and green and gray stripes on the waist band. He also had black shoes with white soles on and a black New York Yankees hat.
