A memorial will be held today to honour the 141 dead, 132 of those children in the terrorist attacks at an army school in Peshawar, Pakistan today.
The attack was carried out by seven armed members of the Pakistani Taliban, the largest attack by the terrorist group.
“We will offer prayers, to the victims of the terrorist attack, and to condemn terrorism around the globe. We have to stand as one human being, it doesn’t matter where we are,” said Zafar Iqbal the event organizer and the President of the South Asian Cultural Association of Alberta.
The memorial will be held at 4:00PM at the Golden Years Society.
