MOB grab three points on final road trip of 2014

The Fort McMurray Oil Barons put a close on 2014 grabbing three of a possible four points on the road this weekend.

The MOB beat Olds 3-2 in shootouts on Friday Dec.19th,2014.

Jetlan Houcher scored his 24th goal of the season tying the game before things went to overtime.

While Zach Fortin turned aside 27 of 29 shots including both shootout shooters for his 14th win of the season.

On Saturday Fort McMurray lost 5-4 in overtime to the Camrose Kodiaks.

Houcher picked up his 25th, and 26th goals of the season as the MOB blew a 4-2 lead in the third period and fell in overtime.

Fortin stopped 54 of 59 shots he faced while Mark Drohan (5th), Adam Durkee (12th) and Jetlan Houcher (25th, 26th) scored for the MOB.

The Oil Barons finished 2014 strong, picking up 13 of a 18 possible points in December and now sit with a 22-14-4 record and 48 points just three behind the Lloydminster Bobcats for second in the AJHL North division.
