The Fort McMurray Oil Barons (MOB) announced this morning that 16-year-old defenceman Mark Drohan (6’2″, 180lb) has been recalled to Tri-City of the Western Hockey League (WHL).
In his first year of junior hockey the Calgary, AB native has posted five goals and six assists in 35 games this season. Four of Drohan’s goals have come on the power play good enough for second on the club.
Drohan put up 16 points in 35 games with the Calgary Buffaloes of the Alberta Midget AAA Hockey League last year.
He was a 3rd round, 59th overall pick of the Tri-City Americans in the 2013 Bantam Draft.
He has yet to play a WHL game.
