Ken Khran and his group of roughly ten riders are getting set for their ninth annual Ride for Hope benefitting Fort McMurray’s Centre of Hope.
The group has raised over $100,000 since first taking up the annual 440 km trek to Fort Smith.
Khran and his group begin their travels on Jan. 15, 2015 with two quads and two support trucks with supplies.
This years funds will be donated as part of the Subzero Challenge, in which the Centre of Hope is looking to raise $40,000 before Mar. 1, 2015.
Dollars raised for the Subzero Challenge this year will go towards the Centre of Hope’s extended hours program, which will allow the centre to keep its doors open on weekends and holidays.
