The 27th annual Regional Aboriginal Recognition Awards (RARA) is accepting nominations for local Aboriginal community members in Wood Buffalo who make a difference.
The RARA awards is open to any indigenous people who make contributions to their home communities of Anzac, Conklin, Fort Chipewyan, Fort McKay, Fort McMurray #468 First Nation, Fort McMurray and Janvier.
All nominees must live a healthy lifestyle free of drugs and alcohol.

The deadline for submissions is Jan. 23, 2015.
The awards gala will be held on Mar. 7, 2015 at the Sawridge Hotel and Conference Centre.
