No suspect found after 911 call to downtown home

Police cleared a downtown home after a call about a break in, and didn’t find a suspect inside.

Wood Buffalo RCMP says it was called to the Alberta Drive area just before 6 p.m. yesterday.

Cpl. George Cameron says a woman called 911 after hearing a noise in the house. He says the woman rushed outside and waited for RCMP to arrive.

Police surrounding the house and went inside. A possible suspect wasn’t found and RCMP says there wasn’t any stolen property or signs of a forced entry.
