Civeo Corporation reopened the doors to a work camp that was closed down during layoffs.
It secured a contract with a company bringing in workers for a facility turnaround in the second quarter of this year.
Civeo is opening 1,800 rooms at its Athabasca and Beaver River lodges for up to three months.
Athabasca Lodge reopened last month, after a temporary closure in November 2014. At the time, it also closed the Lakeside Lodge for good.
On Monday, Civeo announced it won four new contracts totaling $64 million in aggregate value.
