Over $1 million in drugs seized during ALERT investigation

Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) says it seized over $1 million in drugs when it executed seven search warrants and arrested seven people on Wednesday Jun. 3.

Police say they seized large amounts of cocaine and fentanyl during the investigation.

Officers searched five homes, a Chateau Nova hotel room and the Supplement King on Signal Road and seized drugs, two firearms and a number of vehicles.

Patrick Felix and Jason Mulley are alleged to have operated the complex drug trafficking ring and are facing a number of charges.

Five others including Mandy Gauvreau, Alexander Jurich, Rachel Jurich, Spencer Brown, and Levi Lund were also arrested and charged.

ALERT will hold a news conference tomorrow at 1 p.m. where they will release more details on the investigation.
