Christmas tree drop-off sites available

With Christmas now behind us it’s time to think about getting rid of that giant balsam fir in your living room.
The Municipality has set up four Christmas tree drop-off sites to dispose of your tree.

They are located at Borealis Park, Syncrude Athletic Park, Howard Pew Park and Wood Buffalo Spray Park.
The RMWB is reminded people to remove the tree stand and all decorations before dropping their tree off.
In year’s past, the trees have been used to make shavings which were then spread around gardens throughout the region.
Drop-off sites will be available until January 12.
