Road work starting on Highway 63

Expect delays starting this week on Highway 63 between the Parsons Creek interchange and Taiga Nova.

The province is doing some paving work on that stretch of the roadway with most of the work happening during the day though some paving is being done at night.

There will be lane closures and shifting, though there will not be any restrictions during the morning and evening rush periods. Those are 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. or southbound traffic between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on weekdays.

You will have to slow down to 50 km an hour in the construction area.

The work is expected to continue through to September 3.
