The new site offers the same comprehensive local news coverage you’re used to with the addition of the latest national, international, business, and entertainment news from the Canadian Press and the very latest sports news from our colleagues at Sportsnet.
“I am incredibly pleased to offer our this updated platform for news to our audience,” said Program Director John Knox. “It’s something we’ve been working on for months, planning for a spring launch. Because of the devastation of the wildfire and the upheaval our residents have been through we decided to wait to launch this new website until we felt it was an appropriate time.”

We also understand that while many of our friends and neighbours have returned home there are many still living in their temporary homes and that much of our community is still waiting for answers about rebuilding and returning home.
