The deadline to claim pets rescued during the evacuation is July 14th.
Pets are currently being held by the RMWB’s Law enforcement Animal care and Control Branch.
Any pets remaining in the Municipalities care on July 15th will be considered abandoned, and will be transferred to rescue group adoption programs.
