The Salvation Army is packed to the rafters with fire relief donations sent from coast-to-coast-to-coast.

“Our church sanctuary is overflowing with donated items and our parking lot is full of packed storage containers,” said Major Bond Jennings, Associate Corps Officer for The Salvation Army in Fort McMurray in a press release Thursday. “We just don’t have the capacity to continue accepting physical goods.”

Jennings is asking for any donations to be in the form of monies.

Since the wildfire the Salvation Army has been flooded with clothing, food, and furnishings to help residents during the recovery process.
