A man has died after he was hit by a vehicle while walking on highway 881 south of Anzac early Sunday morning.
Wood Buffalo RCMP said the man was walking in the middle of the highway when he was struck by a vehicle and killed. They were called to the scene at 1:19 a.m. Sunday.
The collision happened at kilometre marker 251. Traffic was being rerouted on Sunday because of the crash but the highway has since re-opened.
Police had no other details available to released but they have asked anyone with information about the collision or the man involved to please contact them.
