The Wildrose Party is having its caucus meeting here in Fort McMurray this week.
On Tuesday night the party and all its MLAs will be meeting with residents at a town hall hosted by party leader and Fort McMurray-Conklin MLA Brian Jean.
He and Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo MLA Tany Yao will be welcoming residents you to the Quality Hotel and Conference Centre in Gregoire.
The meeting is set to begin at 7 p.m. with registration opening at 6:30 p.m.
Jean said in a Facebook post the goal of the meeting is to discuss the future of Alberta and of our city.
He said that in particular he and Yao are hoping to gain feedback from residents on what message they should be sending to the legislature about the rebuild of our community.
Jean has backed the RMWB and Mayor Melissa Blake in a recent move to ask the province to approve flood mitigation plans that would allow rebuilding to begin in Waterways, the community where he himself lost his home.
