RCMP said Wednesday they had completed interviews with the four people arrested in connection to the online threats made about local schools involving clowns and kidnapping.

They said they’ve identified a young woman from Fort McMurray as the person responsible for sending the message. No charges have been laid at this point in time.

All four people have been released from police custody.

The investigation is continuing.

On Tuesday morning schools were on ‘hold and secure’ mode because of the threats made in an Instagram post. Police said there was never a danger to the public.
