Sandra Jansen the latest to enter PC leadership race

There’s another contender in the Alberta PC leadership race.

Calgary northwest MLA Sandra Jansen says she wants to build a modern, forward looking team that will take the PC’s into the future.

She was first elected in 2012, then re-elected last year and currently sits as a critic for human services, education, and status of women.

Before to entering political life, she spent more than 20 years as a journalist working across Alberta and Canada.

Jansen is the 5th to enter the race.

Fellow MLA Richard Starke, former MLA Donna Kennedy-Glans, former Calgary MP Jason Kenney, and Calgary lawyer Byron Nelson have already announced they are running.
