DES MOINES, Iowa – A look at what the presidential candidates and key backers did on Tuesday Oct. 25:

HILLARY CLINTON:

Rallies — Just one at Broward College in Coconut Creek, Florida, near an early voting location. Drew about 1,750 people.

Press — Appeared on Univision program “El Gordo y La Flaca.” Also taped two radio interviews.

Fundraisers — Hillary Victory Fund dinner in Pinecrest, Florida, a Miami suburb, hosted by Democratic donor Chris Korge.

Surprise — Detoured to an Adele concert in Miami.

Stand-Ins: — Former President Bill Clinton and Sen. Elizabeth Warren were in North Carolina, Chelsea Clinton in Wisconsin and Anne Holton, wife of Clinton running mate Tim Kaine, in Nevada. An additional 23 people were also on the road, among them former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, actress Angela Bassett and Emily’s List President Stephanie Schriock. Many more did local and national media appearances.

DONALD TRUMP:

Rallies — Two of his signature large events, one in the central Florida city of Sanford, the second in the capital city of Tallahassee. Each crowd was many thousands larger than what Clinton drew. Running mate Mike Pence held three rallies in Ohio.

Press — Did two live radio interviews in Florida, another in Ohio. A fourth radio interview, taped previously, aired in Georgia.

Fundraisers — None.

Other events — Trump appeared in the morning at his south Florida golf club, then attended a round table in Doral, Florida, with leaders in the Cuban-American community and an event at the Bay of Pigs Museum in Miami.

Stand-Ins: — Eric Trump was in New Hampshire, Donald Trump Jr. in Maine, Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions in Iowa and Maryland Gov. Bob Ehrlich in Washington. These and others also did dozens of media appearances with local outlets across battleground states.
