After getting pummeled one day earlier, the Holland Hurricanes came out as a completely different team en route to a 4-1 victory over Douglas College this afternoon in the Consolation semifinal at the National Championships down at Shell Place.

The Hurricanes showed their speed in the first half and got on the board just 17 minutes in thanks to a shot by Parker MacRae and CCAA All-Canadian Ibrahima Sanoh followed that up by beating three Royals defenders to make it 2-0 for the Hurricanes at halftime.

The second half was much of the same as it only took 10 minutes for the Hurricanes to hit the board with a goal from Theo Ngezahayo and Sanoh added his second of the game in the 82nd minute.

The Royals Arman Badyal scored the teams lone goal on a penalty kick in the 80th minute.

Holland now awaits the loser of Algonquin and Humber for a game Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. The winner of that game will play for bronze on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

The Royals will now get a day off tomorrow and will look to win their first game of the tournament in their final game on Saturday morning.
