Donald Trump’s first major interview since being elected as the 45th President of the United States is set to air this weekend.
Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes interviewed the president-elect shortly after his win on November 8.
One of the topics the two discussed was social media, specifically, if Trump will continue tweeting about the things he’s upset about.
“It’s a great form of communication […] I’m not saying I love it, but it does get the word out,” Trump told Stahl. “If I use it at all, I’m going to be very restrained. I find it tremendous.”
However, on Sunday morning, it seemed Trump’s plans to be “restrained” had changed. He sent out multiple tweets, expressing anger towards The New York Times, for coverage he called “very poor” and “highly inaccurate.”
Wow, the @nytimes is losing thousands of subscribers because of their very poor and highly inaccurate coverage of the “Trump phenomena”

The @nytimes sent a letter to their subscribers apologizing for their BAD coverage of me. I wonder if it will change – doubt it?

The @nytimes states today that DJT believes “more countries should acquire nuclear weapons.” How dishonest are they. I never said this!

In the interview, Trump also said he believed his reach over social media, where he has more than 28 million followers, helped him win his way to the White House.
“I think that social media has more power than the money (the Democrats) spent. And I think maybe to a certain extent I proved that,” he said.
Stahl asked the businessman-turned-politician about some of his most controversial campaign promises, including his plans to build a wall along the United States border with Mexico.
Trump said he will go ahead with the wall, but wouldn’t be against having fencing put up in certain areas instead.

As for deporting millions of undocumented immigrants, Trump told Stahl a few million of them will be deported right away.
“What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers,” he said. “We have a lot of these people. Probably two million, it could even be three million. We’re getting them out of our country.”
He said after the border is secured, other illegal immigrants will be allowed to apply for U.S. residency, but will still need to go through the proper process of entering the country.
When it came to the future of Obamacare, which offers Americans access to affordable health insurance, Trump said he will repeal and replace it.

“It’ll be just fine. That’s what I do, I do a good job, you know? I mean, I know how to do this stuff,” Trump said. “It’ll be great health care for much less money.”
The full interview will air Sunday at 8 p.m. MST on CBS.
