Stuff-A-Bus for the Food Bank this Friday

This Friday is the first annual Stuff-A-Bus for the Wood Buffalo Food Bank being run by the RMWB and WOOSH Transit.

Local schools and businesses have registered to be drop-off locations for food items and much-needed supplies like diapers, feminine products and baby formula.

You can bring donations to any of the locations until Friday when a municipal transit bus operated by volunteers from CUPE Local 1505 will visit each of the locations to pick up your donations.

Some of the most-needed items right now at the Food Bank include: coffee, condiments, flour, fruit, pancake mix, snack crackers, soda crackers, spices, sugar, tea, and tomato paste.

There’s still time to sign up to be a drop-off location. Registration information is available online at rmwb.ca/transit and closes Thursday at noon.
