Registration for annual 3-on-3 hockey tournament open

Registration is now open for the 2016 Councillor Sheldon Germain 3-on-3 Challenge.

The annual hockey tournament which runs December 28th-30th is open to all Divisions (Initiation to Midget) and includes an adult division.

The 3-on-3 Challenge this year will also include The Skill Challenge, which will engage participants in Speed Skating, an Obstacle Race and a competition to determine the Hardest Shot.

On December 28 players will have the opportunity to enjoy skating time with hockey players from the Fort McMurray Oil Barons, followed by an autograph session.

“On an annual basis, the Hockey Challenge brings youth together to enjoy their passion for the sport and spend time with their peers. After a challenging year in our community, this event presents an opportunity for youth and adults to connect over their shared love of hockey while also engaging in some fun and friendly competition,” said Sheldon Germain, title partner of the Councillor Sheldon Germain 3-on-3 Hockey Challenge and Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo councillor.

Registration is open until December 18th.
