Two charged after search warrant yields suspected fentanyl

A man and a woman have been arrested following a search warrant found suspected fentanyl.

On April 13, 2017 the Wood Buffalo RCMP Drug Section searched two residences in Fort McMurray, one on Sifton Avenue and the other on Swallow Way.

Tiffany Randell and David Summerfelt have been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, as well as trafficking property obtained by crime under $5,000.

RCMP members seized 25 grams of cocaine, 144 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 303 fentanyl pills and $1,800 cash.

The accused have both been released on cash bail and will appear in court on May 9, 2017.
