The second annual Canstruction will be held on July 1, 2017.
The goal is to design and build structures entirely made from canned food. Entrants are responsible for purchasing or collecting all of their canned goods.
All proceeds will go to the Wood Buffalo Food Bank (WBFB).
This year’s theme is ‘Canada Day’ to celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday.
Teams should consist of architects, engineers, contractors, designers and community members to register visit their website.
The structures that are built will be judged for various awards such as Juror’s Favourite, Best Use of Labels, Best Meal and Structural Creativity.
The deadline to register is May 12, 2017.
