Fort McMurray man charged with indecent act

Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a complaint of a male exposing himself while inside the YMCA on March 19, 2017.

As a result, 58-year-old Jeffrey Gates, who resides in Fort McMurray, was charged under the Criminal Code for committing an indecent act.

Gates is scheduled to appear in a Fort McMurray Provincial Courtroom on June 5.

Gates was released from police custody with a condition that he is not able to attend any YMCA or recreation centre.
