If you missed the first deadline, you now have more time to apply for the Drywall Support Program.
The program which provides short-term financial relief to homeowners in the RMWB whose homes were severely damaged or destroyed by last May’s Wildfire will now accept applications until Tuesday, June 13 at 2:00 p.m.
The Drywall Support Program was launched late last year when Council called on the Government of Canada to develop and fund a grant program to compensate property owners in the RMWB who have been affected by the increased cost of drywall while rebuilding homes, that were damaged or lost in the wildfire.
You can also benefit from the program if you are a builder, or contractor if you have faced losses as a result of increased duties placed on imported drywall from the United States between September 6, 2016, and February 24, 2017.
If you require financial relief, you have until June 13 at 2:00 p.m. to apply, to be considered.
