The Minimally Invasive Surgical Suites project by the Northern Lights Health Foundation (NLHF) has received a $125,000 donation from CEDA International.

“CEDA International employs hundreds of local employees and understands how valuable it is to have the MIS Suites here locally,” said Kevin Fleury, President, and CEO of CEDA International. “We are grateful to be in a position to give back to a community that has been so good to CEDA and our employees.”

Nearly every part of the body is reachable with minimally invasive surgery, whether it be an appendix burst, to anything else, with the suites, the centre will be able to provide the best health care possible.

The Health Foundation thanked CEDA for the generous donation, that will contribute to our community in a positive way.

“Now, more than ever, we need all industry in our community to step up, make health care a priority, and to stand next to their peers who have set the pace for life-changing health care in Wood Buffalo,” said Cindy Amerongen, Executive Director, Northern Lights Regional Health Centre. “CEDA’s commitment to the health and safety of their employees, their families, and our community is represented by this generous gift.”

The $16 million Gratitude Campaign is comprised of eight projects, which includes the Minimally Invasive Surgical Suites.
