Something big could be about to happen Friday with the recently announced Tim Hortons lawsuit.
Last week, a group of Tim Hortons franchisees launched a class action against Tim Hortons parent company for $500 million, alleging mismanagement.
Sources tell 680 NEWS’ Richard Southern that things are getting ugly and to expect a major announcement Friday from the group of franchisees.
The lawsuit alleges that Restaurant Brands International, Tim Hortons parent company, has been collecting money from Tim Hortons franchisees that is meant to go into an advertising fund, but instead, RBI is using it to line its own coffers.
Restaurant Brands International has previously said that it vehemently disagrees with, and denies all the allegations.
