The grandmother of a two-year-old girl killed by triple murderer Derek Saretzky has urged a judge not to let him hurt anyone ever again.
Terry-Lynn Dunbar delivered an emotional statement at Saretzky’s sentencing hearing describing the loss of Hailey Dunbar-Blanchette. Saretzky was convicted of killing the little girl, her father Terry Blanchette and Hanne Meketech in 2015.
Dunbar says the family has been through hell and she will never get to hear Hailey say “I love you.”
Hailey’s mother, Cheyenne Dunbar, says Saretzky stole her greatest joy.
A friend of Meketech told Saretzky she suffers anger and hate and called Saretzky an animal.
